Water polo is part of Westring
Water polo has had a notable significance at Westring Dichtungstechnik since the company's founding. Almost all managing directors - current and future - are active or retired water polo players.
SVV Plauen made the step into the 1st Bundesliga in 2017, also thanks to the commitment of Jörg Neubauer as coach.

Furthermore, the Plauen branch has supported the Schwimm-Verein "Vogtland" Plauen e.V. for years with donations in kind and money, as well as unpaid coaching.
